Greenwich Rugby Club were hosts to a mixed club training session which included Southwark Tigers, Medway, and Greenwich Rugby Clubs.

 

Teams, Coaches, Parents, Guardians and Players came together for a united training session and various games.

 

Coaches from all teams were

coaching players from all clubs, players from all clubs were training with all clubs and spectators and supporters were supporting each other.

A session of pre-game warm up and training was soon underway before the games took place.

​

Games commenced with each team competing against each other which was fiercely fought. Plenty of great tackles, plenty of sprinting tries and plenty of good competition.

​​

It did not end there for all involved. So enjoyable was the session that the kids wanted another game and a large mixed game was duly arranged with players from all teams getting involved. I still don't know how the teams were arranged but the kids seem to know what side they were on.

What a great Sunday morning and a huge thank you as always to all the volunteers who were involved and made this session possible. 

 

Finally, a big shout out to all the players who took part in the session and played the game in great spirit, true teamwork and respect to their team-mates, opposition, and referee. Well done.
